Композиция «Hurricane» стала пятым треком, записанным командой 30 Seconds To Mars для  третьего студийного альбома. Режиссером видеоклипа к синглу выступил фронтмен коллектива Джаред Лето. Музыкальное видео было запрещено на ведущих мировых телеканалах из-за откровенных сцен и кадров насилия. По словам Джареда Лето, короткометражный ролик отобразил скрытые и грязные недры человеческого мозга, а также связанные с ними кошмарные фантазии.
